When planning our canoe trips, it’s important to know where to meet and how to coordinate transportation effectively. Below are the common meeting spots for our group:
Rotary St-Anselme Park, Dieppe
From AGMs and canoe events to planning sessions and first aid clinics, Rotary Park is where our RRCC club members comes together.
Tim Hortons, Dieppe
A central location, perfect for meeting up and organizing vehicles before departure.
Riverview Mall
Convenient for west-side trips or when coordinating carpooling.
Put-In Spot (for Day Trips)
For day trips, we may meet either at Meeting Spots or directly at the put-in location to save time and streamline the trip.
Vehicle Sharing and Trailers:
To make our trips eco-friendly and efficient, we encourage carpooling. Members with trailer vehicles often carry canoes and gear for the group. If you’re riding in someone else’s vehicle or if your gear is being transported, it’s recommended to contribute a small fee to help cover fuel and maintenance costs. Sharing these expenses ensures fairness and supports the group effort.
