Southwest Miramichi River – Friday, May 2, to Sunday, May 4 – 65 km

The canoe trip is planned from Friday, May 2, to Sunday, May 4, along the Southwest Miramichi River, covering 65 km with a novice to intermediate rating.
Participants will depart Moncton at 9:00 AM on Day 1, paddle through easy to intermediate rapids (Class I-III), and camp along the river for two nights, with stops at scenic locations like Fall Brook Falls.
The trip requires participants to bring their own camping gear and food, with the option to use club canoes.
Costs, including fuel and shunting fees, will be shared equally and calculated after the trip.
A pre-trip meeting is scheduled three weeks prior, and the trip will be canceled in case of dangerous weather or low water levels.
